2015 Summer Recap

The brothers of the SKP chapter have been doing amazing things in the summer. Below is a few snippets from Jonathan Laks, Rex Elardo, Zach Gershman looking into their summer.

Jonathan Laks

Jonathan was free for the entire first half of summer where I spent my time sleeping in, going to the beach, and just enjoying life. He decided to travel the world and visit his friend in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He traveled to places in BA, Peru and Lima while hiking up Machu Picchu and exploring Cusco with his friend. He also traveled by himself to Bariloche in Northern Patagonia and went kayaking, hiking, and saw incredible views. For the second half of his summer, he started his second Coop at Endeavour Partners, a small strategy consultant and expert witness firm. So far, he has really enjoyed the work he does and people at his job. He can’t wait to for the fall semester to begin and reunite with all the brothers!!

Rex Elardo

Rex has spent almost his entire summer cooking and managing for a restaurant called the Rice Barn, in Needham, Massachusetts. He has enjoyed his time there and is excited to see what new opportunities the position can provide for him!

Zach Gershman

Zach Gershman’s summer started out with him taking classes during the first Summer Semester, as he completed his way through Anthropology and Film courses. In late June, he started interning at The GroundTruth Project, a newsgroup based out of the WGBH building dedicated to exposing and reporting on injustice around the globe. He also began interning at a Real Estate Development firm in early July, while simultaneously working as a Bike Courier for Postmates and as a Brand Ambassador for Uber. He is excited to be back in Boston and is looking forward to a great Middler Year!
